Love is a funny thing. You expect it to be easy. You expect it to be a world of roses and laughs and perfect moments that you find only in movies. You expect her to always say the right thing, and always know exactly how you feel, or exactly how to react to it. You expect her to calm you down when you’re yelling or to chase you when you run away. You expect so much that you feel entirely, and utterly defeated when something doesn’t exactly match up with all your plans. But that’s the thing. Love isn’t a plan. When it comes to finding the right person, it all comes down to how well they know you, and how well they would be willing to get to know you. Finding a person who would understand your faults and love you for every single one of them. Some one who will cherish their time with you, and never doubt that you cherish their time with them. The person that can fight with you and hurt you, but still be there for you through thick and thin. It may not be the good guy, that makes things easy, but it’s the right guy, the one that you love, and you know loves you back. A guy can love a thousand girls, but the one meant for you will love only one girl, a thousand ways.
You can try your hardest - you can do everything within your means but sometimes people just aren't worth it anymore. They aren't worth all the tears and worrying, and it's important to know when to let go of someone who only brings you down. Let's face it - no matter how much you tell yourself you’re over someone, your heart knows the truth.
In 10 years, you will be more disappointed by what you didn't do than by what you did.
